He is one of the 5 founding members of APME and from 2012 he has been vice-president of APME.
He serves as pastor in Alfa& Omega Church in Turda having been ordained in this church starting from 1990.
At present, he is vice-president of Cluj Pentecostal Regional Community.
He is part of the founding group of EBE Foundation (Biblical Education by Extension – Romania), organization that serves offering equipping courses for leaders in the evangelical movement and he is acting as executive director for this organization.
Through the EBE partnerships, he was in short term mission several times, 3 times participating to the programs of equipping leaders in Vietnam, between 2000 and 2005.
He is married to Mioara and together they have 4 children, two sons and two daughters, all 4 being married. Deteșan family rejoices having 6 grandchildren at the moment.
